Enviar logs,

Reinstalaste distro como nueva, no ? No actualizacion para q no deje previa config.
(...pero si ya trataste de instalar el kerner driver (linux-usb..) entran los dos driver en competencia y se anulan.
Vas a tener que empezar con una instalación limpia sin ninguna config previa ( quien sabe como ha quedado...)

te dijo borres /var/run/ppp*.pid

rm /var/run/ppp*.pid

incluye /var/run/ppp0.pid , /var/run/ppp1.pid , etc..


Fijate por favor, los cometarios a otros compañeros, que estan instalando el SpeedTocouch 330, por ej.: tema logs.

holass hoy me puse a configurar el modem y casi andubo pero despues me tiro las iluciones abajo cuando me dio un error, algo como que el dispositivo no respondia.

mas o menos por lo que vi ahi me detecta la impresora (todavia no la probe) por lo que con el modem no tendria que tener problemas, pero el put#""!$#$#""!#$ modem sigue sin andar. ¿que puede ser?

Mira a mi me tiro el mismo error. Lo que hice fue seguir las instrucciones de esta pagina: http://www.linux-usb.org/Speedtouch

En la sección Linux from Scratch te explica como hacer para levantar el firmware con el modem-run, esta bien completo.

Si vas a seguir estas instrucciones primero hace ./undo.sh a si te elimina la conf anterior.

Todavía no me anda. Me conecta a la red. dice ADSL ( 320Kb upload : 128 Kb down ) .

El tema (la pregunta) es que me dice cuando hago un ping Network unreachable. Es de la configuración del pppd. pero no se que debo agregar.
Si alguien sabe agradezco sus aportes!!!

Segun entiendo mi compilador de C no puede crear un ejecutable ?? (sera por q recien la instale y todavia le tengo q enseñar ? :S )

Por otros motivos tuve que instalar Fedora 4 y de paso probe ( ya con una resignación en los hombros que ni les cuento ) si andaba el bendito SpeedTouch, y resulta que voilà, anduvo Increible!.

Lo único que hice fue seguir las instrucciones de http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch
link Fedora Core.
y por si alguien lo sigue en vez no creen el archivo ifcfg-ppp0 sino creen en /etc/ppp/peers/ el archivo speedtch con esto :
